As its name says, The Benedict is specialized in brunch, although offers dinner as well and it’s a good space to have a drink at night listening to some live music. Quantity, quality and good prize for this great place.
When you enter this original brunch place, your attention will be capturd by the many antiques hanging from the walls. Your first desire will be to chill at the authentic English tea corner with a cup of tea in your hands. The big couch and easy chairs in baroque style welcome you and so the pillows with the English flag.
The brunch menu includes tipical dishes such as eggs benedict or florentin, English breakfast, pancakes or french toast, as well as sandwiches, burgers, salads and a few more dishes with eggs and potatos. What you certainly cannot miss are their eggs benedict with ecological eggs on English muffins. They offer as well a light version of eggs benedict called Benedict Barcelona Eggs with tomato and mozzarella instead of bacon.
On Thursday and Friday you can have the brunch menu for 10,50€, which includes one dish, hot drink, bellini or mimosa and pancake.
The dishes are very big and what I recommend is to share one savoury and one sweet. In case you and your companion woul like to start with the same one, the friendly service would bring you one dish at a time. We started with the English breakfast and finished with the French toast… After brunch a walk was needed!
